As a Game Designer on Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire at Machine Zone, I focused on creating and balancing game features that kept players engaged in a dynamic, competitive environment. My role included leading live operations content, which was crucial to maintaining player interest and meeting revenue targets through well-timed events and engaging content updates.
Collaborating closely with Product Management, I played a key role in defining sales strategies that balanced player progression with monetization goals, ensuring that each feature aligned with both player satisfaction and business objectives. I utilized game analytics to assess and fine-tune gameplay elements, creating a balanced and competitive environment that kept players invested.
Additionally, I managed the balancing of complex combat systems, ensuring a fair and competitive gameplay experience across all player levels. This careful attention to balance and progression supported a thriving in-game community and helped to sustain long-term engagement within the Final Fantasy XV mobile universe.
On Final Fantasy XV: A New Empire, I am currently a Game Designer. My Duties included:
- Designing and implementing multiple features, and content releases that increase overall player engagement and monetization.
- Working with other designers, Events Team, and Live Operations team to create compelling content, and extend core progression to meet KPI targets.
- Creating and improving upon existing tools, processes, and spreadsheets used for content creation and balancing.
- Working closely with product owners to define optimal strategy for new features while balancing progression and meta.
- Using game analytics to determine game health ensuring that feature roadmaps are aligned with player needs.
