Madden NFL Mobile: Building a Dynamic, Engaging Mobile Football Experience
As part of the design team for Madden NFL Mobile, I played a key role in shaping a compelling, interactive football experience optimized for mobile players. My work focused on balancing game economy, enhancing player retention, and creating new content standards that enriched the overall gameplay.
One of my major achievements was designing and implementing the VIP Rewards Program, which successfully increased user engagement and loyalty by providing valuable rewards tailored to dedicated players. I also collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to develop features that kept the gameplay fresh, accessible, and aligned with player expectations. Through these efforts, Madden NFL Mobile became a more immersive and satisfying experience for fans, solidifying its presence in the mobile sports gaming market.
On Madden Mobile, I was an Associate Designer. My Duties included:
- Designing and driving the implementation of multiple features including the VIP Rewards Program and Player Comparison.
- Designing and building daily reactive NFL themed content, which included live events, packs, items, and collections using XML.
- Planning and implementing seasonal programs that increased overall user engagement, retention, and monetization.
- Re-designing and re-building all content and economy standards for Madden NFL Mobiles Season 2 launch.
- Reviewing analytics in order to improve player engagement, content creation, and devise new features.
- Proposing new workflows and content release plans to increase content quality and quantity.
- Collaborating closely with engineers, producers, and creative leadership on quality and impact of new features.
- Product Owner of Whitebox content creation and testing which ensured that features worked as expected before being shipped.
